Find Your Peace

There are no rules to creating the perfect meditation space as everyone has their own views on relaxation. Everyone deserves to feel at peace in their own homes. You can surround yourself with the things that make you happy and make you feel comfortable. When life is making you go ballistic, you need to create a safe place where you can unwind and get back in touch with who you truly are. Here are a few ways to create a safe and peaceful meditation space for you:

  1. Focus on your personality!

In order to create the perfect meditation space for yourself, you need to KNOW yourself. Think about the things that make you happy and fit your personality. The best way to feel safe while meditating is to be surrounded with things that make you feel happy. Your meditation space should speak directly to who you are, colors that make you feel calm and happy and décor that resonate with your spirit.

  1. Keep it light & airy!

While meditating you should keep your space clutter free with lots of fresh air coming through. Feeling the warm sunlight on your skin paired with some cool breeze is going to take your meditation to the next level. You can also burn your favorite incense or diffuse your favorite essential oils to really step up your meditation game.

  1. Be Cozy

Make your meditation as cozy as possible! Lots of people think that in order for one to meditate they need to wear yoga clothes and be in professional/modern areas to be mindful. In reality, meditation is all about finding your own peace and comfort. You need to feel comfortable in every way possible, wear whatever you feel cozy in, decorate your space in a way where you can find comfort.

  1. Choose the perfect space for you

Your personal meditation space is completely up to you. You need to ask yourself if you want a mediation corner or a meditation room. Would you feel more comfortable knowing you have a big airy room or do you think you will be more comfortable if you were to have a cozy corner? The space should resonate with your spirit.

  1. Bring life into your space

A great way to meditate is to have life around whether it is plants or even having a fish tank. Did you know that fish tanks can reduce stress, anxiety, and help you sleep? Having plants in your meditation space will not only keep your air clean but will also boost your mood.

Find yourself and what truly makes you feel at peace and you will create the best meditation space that is suited to your own personal preference.
